About us

The company history dates back to the period between the First and Second World Wars. TIC was set up in Chorzow in 1930s. It consisted of stores which shared the same pricing policy. The outbreak of World War II stopped the activities of TIC for some time.

The company was revived in 1990 by one of its heirs. It existed initially as a sole trader. In 1991 it was transformed into a civil law partnership, in 1994 the company turned into the joint stock company. TIC has been continuing the tradition of providing high-quality services and keeping consistent level of prices in its operational units. The Head Office is located in Katowice, 201 Krakowska Street.

TIC SA distributes paints, varnishes, accessories and building materials. Despite focusing mainly on the paints and varnishes segment, the company deals with related segments - insulation systems, joinery, dry lining and others.

TIC SA is a co-founder and shareholder in a Stofarb consortium bringing together more than 300 retail stores in Poland. Every client is offered a careful selection of materials and technology - optimized as for quality, performance and amount of expenditure incurred.
